Introduction

Our topic for the GREEN S.E.E.D.S project is “Forest heritage as an economic, social and environmental value”. Students reflected on what this topic means and what they wanted to do as school activity. In agreement with the Italian teacher we decided to write a story about Bob, a squirrel, and some spin-off tales about some animals in Bob’s adventure. Stories will be reported on the website.

ACTIVITIES
- Brainstorming in class on “forest heritage” topic;
- Collecting ideas on forest heritage;
- Find some points of interest and vote the activity to be done;
- In this case students made the proposal to tell some stories about animals
- Create some teams for working together, working alone also possible;
- Sharing the main story about Bob the squirrel;
- Students find some informations about the habits of some animals and write spin-off stories
- Students translate their product into French and fill the website in with all the stories;
- Presentation to the Spanish class

Conclusion
This work was made together with the Italian teacher. We found a point of interest in telling stories about animals of the forest.
- A big story has been written: “Bob the squirrel and the stolen acorns ...(better not make me angry)”
- Some internet researches has been made on some animals, in order to know them before writing the story
- Some spin-off stories has been written: owl, fox, wolf, badger, raccoon
- Some drawings about these animals have been made.
